What to Expect

Walking into a new studio for the first time can feel vulnerable — especially if you've tried things before that didn't quite fit, or you're not sure your body can still do what it used to. Here's exactly what happens when you begin with me, so there are no surprises, only a clear next step.

Your First Session: The Eterna Movement Baseline

Your first visit isn't a generic workout — it's where I begin learning your body. We start with a conversation: your movement history, your goals, past injuries, and anything you're currently navigating, physically or otherwise.

From there, I use research-backed PostureScreen® technology to capture visual posture images and measurements. This becomes the first entry in your personal Eterna Movement Record — a living picture of where your body is right now, not a judgment of it.

We then move together on the reformer, so I can see how your body actually responds — where it's strong, where it's guarded, and which cues help you feel supported rather than forced. You'll be coached closely the entire time.

Before you leave, you'll receive an Eterna Movement Summary: a written record of what we observed and what I recommend as your next steps. It's yours to keep, whether or not you continue.

During the Session

You’ll be coached closely the entire time. I’ll help you with alignment, breathing, and how to use your core in a way that feels supportive—not forced. The exercises are controlled and intentional. Some parts will feel gentle, and some will feel challenging in the right way, but nothing should feel sharp, unsafe, or rushed.

What to Wear & Bring

Come as you are, dressed to move. Leggings or fitted athletic wear work best — it lets me actually see your alignment, which is how I coach you well. Grippy socks are ideal for the reformer; if you don't have a pair, I keep some on hand for you. Beyond that, no special equipment needed. Just bring yourself.

Every Session After

If you continue, each session builds on the one before it. I update your Movement Record as your body changes — as you get stronger, as your posture shifts, as your goals evolve — so your program is never generic. It's built around the version of you that shows up that day.

At the close of each package, we pause for a Movement Record Update: a full comparison of where you started and where you are now, in writing. It's how you'll actually see the progress that's often hardest to feel day to day.

You'll be coached on alignment, breathing, and how to use your core in a way that feels supportive, not punishing. There's no performance here — just steady, intelligent progress.

Who This Is For

You don't need experience, flexibility, or a certain fitness level to begin. You need to show up as you are. Most of the women I work with are rebuilding strength and confidence at a stage of life when they're told to expect decline — and instead, they find how much capacity is still there, waiting to be reintroduced.

What You'll Leave With

After your Baseline, you'll have a clear, written sense of where you're starting from and what we're building toward. Over time, that translates into more strength, better posture, more ease in daily movement — and the quiet, physical confidence that comes from knowing your body isn't working against you anymore.

Every new client begins with the Eterna Movement Baseline. It's the only way I know how to build something that actually fits you.
